About me

Other than being a 20-something IT professional, I’m a crazy petrol-head who loves Airsoft.
I’m a serious geek, I take great pride in being a professional geek, I eat, sleep and breath geek.

I’ve been at the forefront of emerging social-media trends since around 1995 when I first discovered the internet, I have invested large amounts of time in my life to furthering my knowledge and understanding of both the fundamental aspects of computing as well as the emerging trends in what is proving to be one of the most rapidly growing industries in the world.
In my professional career, I have been responsible for aiding the British Government’s Revenue and Customs department in recovering over-due tax receipts to the value of approximately £3 Billion P/A through the deployment of my bespoke call-handling software.

I’ve spent time building up a strong working knowledge of multiple sectors while expanding my own career.
I have spent time working within several financial sectors, from Banking to Insurance.
I always strive to display my talent for working in IT related roles.

While my initial working background was in Software Development, I have rapidly made the transition to a much more mixed hardware/software role, working towards both my CCNA and my MCITP SA(MCSE/MCTS/MCP)

Originally I lived in Scotland, though I came to my senses and headed south to London, where I’ve been ever since.

I now provide IT support to two schools in Sussex, a role I find both challenging and exciting, furthering my development as well as endearing me with a great deal of satisfaction, knowing I’m helping shape the learning experience of the children that pass through the Schools.
